The Old Time Gathering held at the Dodge County Fairgrounds on September 13 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. will feature a variety of exhibitors. Old time crafters will be located in the Youth Building. Throughout the day there will be demonstrations, hands-on opportunities, and old time crafts. Exhibits include spinning and fiber arts, weaving, embroidery, knitting, crocheting, braided rugs, Antique Engines primitive wool hooking, quilting featuring a “treadle machine,” stitchery, chair caning, herbs and healing, basket weaving, beading, rosemaling, trapping, chair caning, kitemaking, old time tools, toys, trains, butter making, doll collecting and much, much more. There will be a model train and mammals of Wisconsin display in the Farm Progress Arena.

On the west end of the Fairgrounds, a Buckskinner encampment will be a popular attraction. You will find the buckskinners dressed in period clothes and they will demonstrate cooking, black powder cannons, soap making, candle making, basket weaving, flint napping, fire starting, rope making, tinsmithing, whittling, and trade goods.

Barbara Harvey will have her Birds of Prey display in the Open Class Exhibit Building and the Dodge County Antique Power Club will have several old time exhibits. A farmer’s market will feature honey, apples, pumpkins, potatoes, meat, produce, and much much more.
