Flea Market & Craft Fair to Kick Off Season on May 27

Dodge County Flea Market

Flea Market and Craft Fair located near Beaver Dam Wisconsin at the Dodge County Fairgrounds

The Dodge County Fairgrounds will host the first monthly Flea Market and Craft Fair of the season on Saturday, May 27.  The event will be held from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Visitors can expect more than one hundred vendors, showcasing items from all over the Midwest.  The event will be held rain or shine.  Shoppers can browse booths outdoors.  If there is inclement weather, the market will be moved indoors.

Admission and browsing are free; there is no charge for parking.  Most vendors will offer their own shopping bags, but shoppers are encouraged to bring their reusable tote bags, rolling carts or wagons.

Shoppers will be delighted with the variety of market vendors and interesting items such as unique furniture, vintage glassware, toys, and antiques.  Bargain hunters will browse through bins and tables of electronics, videos, tools and rare finds and collectibles.

Handmade items will be available for purchase at the many craft fair booths.  Buyers will find handmade crafts for the home, furniture, handmade body products, jewelry and doll clothes.

Additional home-based vendors will be available to educate you on their products and services.  Many will offer consultations, samples, and testing of their products.  Shoppers may browse booths by Scentsy, Pampered Chef, Avon, Tupperware, Thirty-One, Jamberry, Perfectly Posh, Jewels in Candles, Paparazzi, Pink Zebra, US Borne Books, Coca Exchange, Stampin’ Up and L’Bri.

Download, print and post the Flea Market Poster on bulletin boards at work or in your community.

The Flea Market and Craft Fair will also be held at the Fairgrounds on June 17, July 15, August 26 and September 16.  Specific items and vendors will vary at each event.  But the assortment and variety of unique items will remain the same.  Family-friendly activities are also offered at each event.  Raffles for miscellaneous items, including Dodge County Fair tickets, will also be available.

Concessions are available.  Stop out for some popcorn from The Popcorn Guy or a sweet treat from Gourmet Cupcakes.  The concession stands on May 27 will be operated by Craft for Cancer, as they are raising funds for the Jason and Jennifer Laue family.

Affordable booth rental fees range from $15-20 per market and are generous in size.  Vendors interested in participating for the entire season will receive their fifth booth rental for free.  Interested craft and flea market vendors may contact Mary Edwards to reserve booth space at fleamarket_craftfair@yahoo.com or 920-350-5360.
