Participants are expected to travel from Madison and Milwaukee to participate in this first visit to the area. If you are looking to reflect on past experiences, a memory or declare a goal or dream – this unique event is for you.  Come with an idea and leave inspired.  This nationwide movement has impacted thousands.

Put your thoughts on paper, when you write your reflections on your individual lantern and release it to the sky. Participants may pre-register online or in person at the event. Both cash and major credit cards will be accepted at the event. Parking for this event is free at the Fairgrounds.

Food carts will offer a variety of unique foods available for purchase.  Local talent will be providing free, musical entertainment.

Families are encouraged to attend and release lanterns together.  The event is promising many family-friendly activities, including balloon artists, magicians, and dancing for the little ones – among other entertainment.  Light up toys and merchandise will be available at the merchandise booth. Children will enjoy the complimentary sparklers and dance party, scheduled when the lanterns are released.

Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome and encouraged.
