A festival of music, food, and youth education. The Dodge County Fair is the area’s main event with three nights of concerts on an outdoor stage surrounded by area youth exhibits and fabulous fried food.  The music festival and concert venue entertain country and rock concert goers from throughout the state of Wisconsin and the Upper Midwest.

Badger State Truck and Tractor Pull kicks off the 2024 Dodge County Fair on Wednesday, August 14th. The tractor pull will include various pro-stock tractors and some of the top-running diesel trucks in the country. Each class will include ten to twenty competitors from all over the Midwest. You’ll have hundreds of meal choices as the smell of freshly prepared Fair Food fills the air!  Buy a season pass at the gate and enjoy all five days of the Dodge County Fair for only $8 a day!

Tracy Byrd will take the microphone on the Moraine Park Main Stage at 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 15. It’s a fun-filled day with activities in Radio Park, Judging in the Youth Building and Livestock Buildings. At 6:30 pm business owners recognize livestock raised by local youth during the annual Meat Animal Sale in the Farm Progress Arena.

Matt Stell performs from the Moraine Park Main Stage on Friday, August 16th at 8 PM.  It’s wristband day, ride unlimited rides on the Midway from 1-5 pm or 6-10 pm for $25.  Arrive early and enjoy several free stages throughout the grounds like Chainsaw Artist Demonstrations, Nick’s Kids Show, Pig Races and Wild World of Animals.

TBA will be rocking in unison on Saturday at the Dodge County Fair, arrive early to see the Horse Pull, Tractor Pull, and many other events on the grounds.  Family Day on the Midway from 12 noon to 5 pm!

Start the day early with the Pernat Haase Meats Four Wheel Drive Truck Pull at 9 am then Smash em Crash em in the Demo Derbies at 1 and 6 pm.  Cars, vans, and trucks crash the day away in front of the main grandstand.  See the Little Britches Showmanship Contest in the Farm Progress Arena and the Little Shepard’s Showmanship Contest in the Sheep Barn.

The concert series, tractor pull, and all other grandstand entertainment are always FREE with paid gate admission to the fair.  Attend the fair for only $7 per day with the purchase of a season ticket.  Daily gate admission is $10 before 12:00 pm; or $15 after 12:00 pm.  Children age nine and under are FREE.  Season tickets are only $35 in advance or $40 at the gate. Spaces can be reserved Wednesday through Saturday, we ask that you do not tape or tie to the bleachers.  All unattended seats, reserved or not are available to anyone at show time. There will be no blankets or garbage bags allowed in the grandstand on Sunday.  We will not allow any reserved seating on Sunday. Please read: Updated process for Blankets in the Grandstand

County Fair Camping Rates; $40 per day Commercial Vendors, or $100 per week for 4H and FFA Youth Exhibitors starting the Monday before the Fair at 7 AM through Sunday at 6 pm. Sites include electric and water but you may need up to 100 feet of hose or cord to connect. Our sewer dump station is not available during the Fair. Each camper must display a camping permit and can be purchased at the Fair Office starting July 15th during office hours 9 AM to 2 PM. Do I have to pay to re-enter the Fair if I leave and come back within the same day?2020-12-24T15:25:11-06:00

No, if you stop in the fair office you can get a wristband that will allow you to re-enter the fair for only that day. You will ONLY receive a wristband if you bring your Admission Ticket, Season Pass, or Exhibitor Ticket to the office. NO TICKET – NO WRISTBAND !! Must have WRISTBAND on the person who is going to re-enter that day.

Sorry, we do not sell advance, reserved or front row VIP seats.  Although, we do reserve a small section on the track for radio giveaways, Fairest of the Fair and their family and major sponsors of the Fair.  View the Concert Seating Chart.

If you have a Season Ticket or Exhibitor Ticket and wish to re-enter the grounds on the same day you will need to get a wristband at the Fair Office. This wristband will be fastened by Fair Personnel only to the Season / Exhibitor Ticket holder. The Season / Exhibitor ticket is only good for the person to whom it was issued. A new ticket is used each day and a different wrist band must be obtained each day if you wish to re-enter the fairgrounds.

Get a Fair Premium Book at one of many locations throughout the county starting the second week of July; most Dodge County Banks, Beaver Dam Piggly Wiggly, Rechek’s Food Pride, and the Fair Office at the Fairgrounds. Or, view and print from our website Open Class Exhibitor page. Complete the Entry Form and return to the Fair Office. Then pick up entry tags on Tuesday before the fair or include a self-addressed stamped envelope to have them sent. Exhibitor Season tickets are $25.

Wristbands and discount tickets can only be used during the promotion time period. All Kids Day and Family Day discount promotion tickets must be used during the special promotion hours. Regular price tickets can be used any day or time of the five-day event.

Yes, the famous Legion Beer Pavilion on Wisconsin Street along with the main concession stand and trackside bars around the grandstand stage area.  Many brands onsite to satisfy everyone’s taste buds!

Yes, there is a handicap section for watching the concerts at the base of grandstand sections F through G.  Your friends and family may sit next to you on lawn chairs, the area is paved throughout with slight incline to see the stage.  Wheelchair access should not be a problem, the handicap area will be roped off with yellow caution tape, feel free to enter, security will monitor and help to make space available.  Attendees in wheelchairs or sitting with walkers are welcome to use this area to watch the music entertainment.  Area is shown on our Concert Seating map here https://dodgecountyfairgrounds.com/dodge-county-fair/concert-seating/

Yes, we have a special Motorcycle Parking Lot. Ask car parkers, ticket takers or follow signs. There’s a roped off area just West of the white Commercial Tents with yellow kick stand boards. (first come, first serve)

Yes, we do have two large grandstands that hold upwards of 4,500 people. You can bring a blanket to sit on either grandstand, but not required. We do ask that blankets are NOT tied or taped to the bleachers. There is also a large area in front of the main grandstand where you can just stand and watch the show also. In response to feedback from our fans, a new process for grandstand seating has been put in place…  Signs and decals in the grandstand area are now posted; “Unattended Seats Available at Show Time”.  Our fans reported reserved spaces with blankets on seats and no one would show up.  Therefore, starting at the 2018 Fair all seats in the grandstand are available to anyone at the start of the concert, pull, or demo derby.  Go ahead and sit on the blanket left by someone else, maybe their plans changed, we want everyone in attendance to enjoy the entertainment.  If you want to use the space you reserved please be at your spot at the start of the show.

Wednesday, August 16, 2023 – (Badger State Tractor Pull) Seating is available in our two large grandstands. No lawn chairs. Blankets can be placed in the grandstands at any time although we ask that you DO NOT tape or tie to the bleachers.

Thursday, August 17, 2023 –  (Chris Lane) Chairs cannot be placed on the track until 8 am Thursday!  We understand many prefer to set chairs before going to work but cannot guarantee their spot and may be moved by the grounds crew.  Chairs placed at 8 am will get priority at the front. Subject to change depending on weather and manpower. Blankets can be placed in the grandstands at any time although we ask that you DO NOT tape or tie to the bleachers.

Friday, August 18, 2023 –  (Jameson Rodgers) Chairs can be set up the night before and early morning as long as all litter has been picked up and put in garbage containers.  Blankets can be placed in the grandstands at any time although we ask that you DO NOT tape or tie to the bleachers. After the show please take your chairs home with you to make room for Tractor Pulls on Saturday.

Saturday, August 19, 2023 – (Night Ranger) No one can enter the track area until the tractor pull is over and the grounds crew has cleaned and prepared for the show.  No chairs can remain after the tractor pull on the paved surface. Standing room only on track surface during the concert, no chairs allowed. Seating is available in Grandstands, blankets can be placed in the grandstands at any time although we ask that you DO NOT tape or tie to the bleachers. See our Seating Chart for where to line up to enter the concert following the tractor pull (the first one in line gets the first choice). A small section will be reserved in the grandstand for VIPs and sponsors of the Fair.

Sunday, August 20, 2023 – (Truck Pull & Demo Derby) Following the Truck Pull all unattended blankets and reserved spots will be removed by the grounds crew to maximize seating in the grandstand for the Demolition Derbies. We will not allow any reserved seating on Sunday.

Senior Citizen Day at the Dodge County Fair is Thursday from 12 pm to 5 pm in Radio Park.  Eligible seniors (55 years or older) must pick-up a coupon at Professional Floor Covering, 713 Park Avenue, Beaver Dam, WI 53916 to get discounted admission.  $2.00 off coupons are only valid before 12 pm, so get out to the Fair early on Thursday!

Wristband days for discounted carnival rides are on Wednesday 1-5 pm and 6-10 pm, Thursday 1-5 pm and 6-10 pm, Friday 1-5 pm and 6-10 pm.  Saturday is Family Day with a 50% discount on ride tickets 12-5 pm 40 tickets for $30.00.  Rides take a break from 5-6 pm Wed-Fri to switch wristband promotions.  Wristbands and discount tickets can only be used during the promotion time period.  Details available on the Rides and Midway Information Page from the Dodge County Fair drop-down menu.

There are two sections to accommodate as many spots as possible. Main section is located South of the white Commercial Tents off Fairview Road.       Sorry, we do not have a ‘free admission’ day or time. Ticket gates are open when the Fair is open. Everyone on the grounds is required to have a ticket or pass.

      Saturday is Family Day on the Midway. From 12 Noon to 5pm buy tickets at a discount of 50% off; 20 tickets for $10 or single regular price tickets $1.25 each. Tickets must be used during the promotion time. 5pm to close regular prices; 10 for $10 and $1.25 single tickets.
