Action Auto Promotions of Milton, WI officiates the Demo Derby on Sunday of the Fair. To obtain a copy of the rules you can DOWNLOAD A COPY BY CLICKING HERE or contact them at (608) 576-7848.
Please do not ask the Fair Association, we do not have backstage passes available. The entertainers often give passes by; joining the artists fan club, follow them on social media for announcements or contests, etc… Additionally, sometimes the presenting radio station for the night has passes; 92.5FM Buzz Country for Thursday, WXRO 95.3FM for Friday. Saturday does not have a presenting radio station at this time.
The Grandstand Entertainment is absolutely FREE !! All you pay is your gate admission to the Fair! Seating is first to come, first serve. There are no advance daily tickets, reserved seating or VIP tickets. FREE Parking and many other family-friendly shows within the Fair.
Gate Admission is $7 before 2 pm and $10 after 2 pm. Age 9 and under FREE. Season tickets are $27 before August 15th and $35 thereafter. Tickets can be purchased at most Dodge County Banks, Recheks Food Pride, Beaver Dam Piggly Wiggly or at the Fairgrounds Office.
If you have a Season Ticket or Exhibitor Ticket and wish to re-enter the grounds on the same day you will need to get a wristband at the Fair Office. This wristband will be fastened by Fair Personnel only to the Season / Exhibitor Ticket holder. The Season / Exhibitor ticket is only good for the person to whom it was issued. A new ticket is used each day and a different wrist band must be obtained each day if you wish to re-enter the fairgrounds.
No dogs or animals will be allowed on the grounds except for special needs dogs and show animals.
Parking anywhere on the fairgrounds is absolutely FREE. All you pay is your gate admission! Over 75 Acres of Parking…. PLENTY of Parking on the grounds!
Wednesday, August 15, 2018 – (Badger State Tractor Pull) Seating available in our two large grandstands. No lawn chairs. Blankets can be placed in the grandstands at any time although we ask that you DO NOT tape or tie to the bleachers.
Thursday, August 16, 2018 – Chairs cannot be placed on the track until 8 am Thursday! We understand many prefer to set chairs before going to work but cannot guarantee their spot and may be moved by the grounds crew. Chairs placed at 8 am will get priority at the front. Subject to change depending on weather and manpower. Blankets can be placed in the grandstands at any time although we ask that you DO NOT tape or tie to the bleachers.
Friday, August 17, 2018 – Chairs can be set-up the night before and early morning as long as all litter has been picked up and put in garbage containers. Blankets can be placed in the grandstands at any time although we ask that you DO NOT tape or tie to the bleachers. After the show please take your chairs home with you to make room for Tractor Pulls on Saturday.
Saturday, August 18, 2018 – No one can enter the track area until the tractor pull is over and the grounds crew has cleaned and prepared for the show. No chairs can remain after the tractor pull on the paved surface. Standing room only on track surface during the concert, no chairs allowed. Seating available in Grandstands, blankets can be placed in the grandstands at any time although we ask that you DO NOT tape or tie to the bleachers. See our Seating Chart for where to line-up to enter for the concert following tractor pull (first one in line gets the first choice). A small section will be reserved in the grandstand for VIP and sponsors of the Fair.
Sunday, August 19, 2018 – (Truck Pull & Demo Derby) Following the Truck Pull all unattended blankets and reserved spots will be removed by the grounds crew to maximize seating in the grandstand for the Demo Derbies. We will not allow any reserved seating on Sunday.
Yes, we do have two large grandstands that hold upwards of 4,500 people. You can bring a blanket to sit on in either grandstand, but not required. We do ask that blankets are NOT tied or taped to the bleachers. There is also a large area infront of the main grandstand where you can just stand and watch the show also.
There will be no blankets or garbage bags allowed in the grandstand on Sunday. We will not allow any reserved seating on Sunday.
The Fair is open daily 8am till 12 Midnight. (Sunday teardown can start at 7pm for some areas)

Get a Fair Premium Book at one of many locations throughout the county; most Dodge County Banks, Beaver Dam Piggly Wiggly, Rechek’s Food Pride and the Fair Office at the Fairgrounds. Complete the Entry Form inside and return to the Fair Office. Then pick-up entry tags on Tuesday before the fair or include self-addressed stamped evelope to have them sent. Exhibitor Season tickets are $25.
Yes, we have a special Motorcycle Parking Lot. Ask car parkers, ticket takers or follow signs. There’s a roped off area just West of the white Commercial Tents with yellow kick stand boards. (first come, first serve)
We have standard wheelchairs available FREE at the Fair Office. They are not electric powered, they are standard wheelchairs that were donated to the Fair by local businesses. You can reserve them for a certain day/time by calling the Fair Office 920-885-3586 with your information.

There are two sections to accomodate as many spots as possible. Main section is located South of the white Commercial Tents off Fairview Road. Second section is located on Grand Avenue along the Youth and Storage Buildings. (when full see a parking attendant for assistance)
Senior Citizen Day at the Dodge County Fair is Thursday from 1pm to 4:30pm in Radio Park. Eligible seniors (55 years or older) must pick-up a coupon at area businesses to get discounted admission. $2.00 off coupons are only valid before 2pm, so get out to the Fair early on Thursday!

Wristband days are on Wednesday ( 3-9pm ) and Friday ( 12-5pm ). Wristbands are $25 per person. Thursday is Kid’s Day ( 1-7pm ) Tickets are 20 for $10.00 or $1.25 each. Details available on the Rides and Midway Information Page from the Dodge County Fair drop down menu.
We do not hold a physical mailing address for GPS or mapping software. Registration is held prior to the pull in front of the Main Grandstand. Registration usually starts at 11:15. (Pedal Tractors provided)
If we purchase tickets for rides, do they need to be used all in one day or can you purchase a bunch and use them all weekend long?
All Kids Day and Family Day tickets must be used during the special hours. Regular price tickets are used everyday.
No, if you stop in the fair office you can get a wristband that will allow you to re-enter the fair for only that day. You will ONLY receive a wristband if you bring your Admission Ticket, Season Pass, or Exhibitor Ticket to the office. NO TICKET – NO WRISTBAND !! Must have WRISTBAND on person who is going to re-enter that day.
Yes, you can purchase season tickets by mail. Send a check by mail for $27 per ticket before August 5th to ensure timely delivery. Tickets are not printed till mid-summer, so please wait to send payment as we will not start mailing until after June 28th. Send payment with note on check “Season Ticket” to: Dodge County Fair Association, P.O. Box 654, Beaver Dam, WI 53916. (tickets are also available at most all Dodge County Financial Institutions, Beaver Dam Piggly Wiggly, Rechek’s Food Pride and the Fair Office during late July and early August)
