Friday at the Fair
Wristband Day on the Midway, Cream Puff Eating Contest and the REO Speedwagon concert on the Grandstand Stage all scheduled on day three of the Dodge County Fair.
From 10am to 7pm learn about animals and agriculture in the Family Farm Adventure Tent next to the Youth Building. The Family Farm Adventure Tent is filled with hands-on learning opportunities for kids of all ages. Activities will include a daily coloring contest, agricultural crafts, and visits from farm friends. Also, be sure to test your knowledge with our Wisconsin agriculture trivia for a chance to win fun prizes. Games include Wheel-of-Farming, Adventure Tent Plinko, and the Commodity Carnival.
The Kiddie Pedal Pull starts at 12 Noon in front of the grandstand. The Fairest of the Fair will be awarding kids who can pedal the farthest when pulling the mini sled. Tractors are provided, registration and weigh-in starts at 11:45am.
Fill-up on fair food for lunch and be ready at 12:00 Noon because it’s Wristband Day on the Midway! Purchase a $20 wristband and ride as many rides as you can from Noon to 5pm. If you can’t brave all the rides or just want to ride a few then purchase tickets individually for $1 each or 14 for $10. Visit our Midway Rides Page for more information.
Cheer for your favorite local celebrity as they compete in the 18th Annual Cream Puff Eating Contest. Cream Puffs are a common sight at the Fair and will disappear in seconds during this contest! The event will be held in WBEV/WXRO Radio Park from 5 to 6:45pm and broadcast live on WXRO 95.3 FM. Trophies sponsored by Custom Trophy of Beaver Dam.
Stop by the WTKM Stage to enjoy music by Jerry and Nora with the Revue from 6 to 10pm. The WTKM area has lots of seating which makes it a great place to take a break while listening to music and eating your favorite fair food.
REO Speedwagon will fill the grandstands, pack the track and have them on their feet at 8pm! All seats and standing areas on the track are FREE with paid admission to the Fair. All areas are available on a first come, first serve basis. You can stand on the track or sit on the bleachers in the grandstands. Get more information from the Concert Seating and FAQ Pages of our website.
After the concert, enjoy music in Radio Park and the Legion Tent. Listen to Almighty Vinyl on the WBEV/WXRO Radio Park Stage “A tribute to the music when vinyl was King” sponsored by Bortz’s Wild Goose Auto Sales and Bud Light. Request your favorite tunes in the Legion tent by Jeff Hall DJ Service from 9 to 11:30pm sponsored by Johnny’s Lounge & Schaefer’s Soft Water.
