April Events start busy year at Fairgrounds
The Fairgrounds has a very busy calendar of events this summer. Racing, flea markets and livestock shows fill the calendar with two or more events each week. Then the main event of the summer, August 17-21 for the Dodge County Fair which draws thousands for the five day music festival, agriculture, foods and fun summer celebration.

Spring has sprung! The time has come for storage exit day. If you’ve stored your Camper, Motor Home, Boat, RV, Truck or Car at the Fairgrounds this winter, you’ll be allowed to exit on the 16th of April, 2016. Be informed that this is the final date of exiting. The scheduled time for removing your summer toys will be from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. You’re all expected to cooperate so that we can have a smooth flow of our services. However, if you think you’ll be occupied and you cannot remove your items during this date, kindly make an appointment by contacting us ASAP.
On the 17th of April, 2016, local drivers will show off their freshly built race cars with free admission for spectators. Promoted by the Dodge County Speedway Association (DCSA), drivers will go through inspection and take some laps. If the weather is not favorable for on track practice, you’re recommended to bring your vehicles for registration, inspection and completion of paperwork. However, if the weather will be favorable to allow on track practice, you’re advised to purchase a pit pass so that you can use it to cover insurance and expenses. If you want to be a spectator, you are welcome and you’ll not be required to pay even a single penny. This event will be taking place from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.

If you want to experience the thrill of dirt track racing on the half mile clay oval, then DCSA i.e. Dodge County Speed Association has got something special for you on the 24th of April, 2016. DCSA with the assistance of volunteers, crew and race fans will be organizing a racing competition that will take place at East of Beaver Dam, WI on Highway 33. The first four races of the season will begin at exactly 4:00 pm. The race is intended to continue till 8:00 pm. Feel free to attend and experience the interesting and exciting things that will be happening on that date.
The Dodge County Flea Market & Craft Fair are organizing an event whereby vendors will be allowed to flock and be given an opportunity to trade antique, vintage as well as unique items. If you want a great place that you can hassle free find one of kind hand made gifts, then this is the place to be. Craft Fair Vendors often have got a variety of items for very many different tastes and therefore you’ll not miss the one that suits your needs. The even is scheduled to take place on the 30th of April, 2016 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. All are welcomed.
