Read about an exhibitor who uses gardening and canning to eat healthy in Grosenick conquers health issues with skills she exhibits at County Fair

Shelly Grosenick, Lebanon, started canning foods in 4-H when she was a child, but she never imagined it would come in so handy as an adult. “I took food preservation in 4-H while growing up. My Mom cans, my Grandmas canned — it’s a family thing,” noted Grosenick. However, her love of food preservation really started to explode as an adult after she experienced health issues that forced her to dive into the art full speed ahead.

Enjoy the many Family FREE shows throughout the grounds starting with the Pig, Duck, and Goat Races at 2 pm, Kandu Magic Show at 3 pm and the educational Wild World of Animals show at 3:30 pm. Show times continue throughout all five days of the Fair, see our complete schedule on the Wednesday Fair Page.
