Wednesday at the County Fair

This is the big day Exhibitors have been preparing for all summer, judging day and awards!  The pride and satisfaction of seeing their work on display and the recognition that they have successfully completed their project. See a complete judging schedule for Junior and Open Class Exhibitors from our online calendar.

The smell of yummy fried food will fill the air as the Dodge County Fair starts this morning at 8 am just 3 miles East of Beaver Dam, WI. Judging of foods, exhibits and other entries start at 9 am in the open class exhibit building and other locations throughout the grounds.  To celebrate a busy day at the Fair stay for the Badger State Tractor Pull at the Grandstand.

Enjoy the many Family FREE shows throughout the grounds starting with the Pig, Duck, and Goat Races at 12 Noon, Nicks Kids Show at 3 pm and the educational Wild World of Animals show at 3:30 pm. Be ready at 1 pm because it’s Wristband Day on the Midway! Purchase a wristband and ride as many rides as you can from 1 to 8 pm. If your stomach can’t take the twists and turns of the zipper you can purchase tickets individually for $1.25 each or 20 for $20. Visit our Midway Rides Page for more information.

Three local women are running for the title of 2019 Dodge County Fairest of the Fair. Starting at 5 pm on the WTKM Stage, watch the final interviews and the crowning of the Dodge County Fairest of the Fair.

The roar of the Badger State Tractor Pull at the grandstand will shake the ground and thrill fans with turbocharged diesel tractors pulling a 40,000 sled up to 25 mph. All seats are FREE with paid admission to the Fair and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Get more information on the FAQ Pages of our website.

Gate Admission is $7 before 12 pm or $10 after 12 pm.  Age 9 and under FREE. Please no carry-ins. FREE Grandstand and Parking!

Coal Rollin Wisconsin Tractor Pull

Badger State Truck and Tractor Pull7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Badger State Tractor Pullers is the premier pulling association in the State of Wisconsin. Two tracks will provide non-stop entertainment for the whole family. Vehicles will navigate the tracks going over 25 mph, pulling a sled weighing 40,000 pounds.

About Fair Assoc

The Dodge County Fair Association is a State of Wisconsin Corporation formed for the purpose of operating a fairgrounds, which is presently located four (4) miles east of the city of Beaver Dam on State Highway 33 on 40 acres of land, which the Corporation owns. The Association is an IRC (Internal Revenue Code) Sec. 501(c)(3) organization. Your tax-deductible contributions are appreciated to maintain buildings and grounds.
