For close to seven decades, the Beaver Pigeon and Bantam Club (BPBC) has been bringing together poultry and pigeon fanciers from across Dodge County. On October 10th the Dodge County Fairgrounds will bring them all together, when it holds the 69th annual Beaver Pigeon and Bantam Club Poultry Show, followed by a swap meet on Sunday. Both events are FREE to spectators.

The show begins at 9am on Saturday morning. At the show, attendees can browse the Youth Building – rain or shine. Exhibitors will show off their top birds and animals all day long. This will serve as a great educational opportunity for families to learn about different types of poultry. A swap area will also be available for exhibitors to sell extra stock.

A variety of awards will be given out in various categories. Any local businesses or community members interested in sponsoring an award or supporting the raffle should contact 920-763-8030 or [email protected].

The annual BPBC fall swap meet is scheduled from 6-10:30am on Sunday morning. This event is open to all to buy, sell or trade equipment, as well as small animals, rabbits, poultry, pigeons, cage birds and more. Admission is FREE, however there will be a sellers fee of $10. No pre-registration is available. If you are interested in participating in the swap meet, details are available on the BPBC Facebook page.

Sellers must provide appropriate cages for their animals and feed is not provided. All specifications and requirements are available for review online.

Those interested in BPBC membership may review membership details and fees on the Beaver Pigeon & Bantam website and review the Facebook page for more information on membership, volunteer opportunities and upcoming events.
