Support local businesses when holiday shopping – Final Flea Market, Oct 17
Have you started your holiday shopping? October 17 will be your last opportunity to do some treasure-hunting until next spring. This month, unique holiday collectibles, seasonal items, unique gifts and crafts will be available to browse one last time at the Dodge County Fairgrounds this month. The final flea market and craft fair of the season will be held at the fairgrounds (rain or shine) from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm. Shoppers should continue to bring a face covering and their own shopping bags and wagons with them when they browse.
With more than one hundred vendors and crafters showcasing their items indoors and outdoors in September, the final flea market will feature even more unique finds and holiday items than ever. Despite social-distancing measures and local orders, vendors and organizers have been overwhelmed with community support, experiencing record-setting attendance and sales this season.
Consider stocking-up early with unique holiday gifts like handmade towels, soaps, unique jewelry, adorable doll clothes, yard ornaments and distressed and handmade furniture pieces.
Entertaining will be made easy with unique dips, nuts and spices and of course, seasonal produce. Search for serving trays, vintage glassware and pottery and baskets.
When decorating and entertaining for the upcoming holiday season, skip the big, discount stores. Instead, browse table after table of unique, festive items from local crafters and vendors. Supporting local, small businesses during these times will benefit everyone. Local home-based businesses will be featuring unique products and gifts that typically can only be purchased online or on television. Browse items in person and support local vendors.
Decorate your mantle with vintage mirrors, wreaths and garlands, antique vases, handmade candles, collectible holiday figurines, and other seasonal favorites.
Interested vendors should complete the online registration form to secure their space. The booth rental fee is only $20 per event (plus a $1 online processing fee). Questions should be sent via email to [email protected].
Attention VENDORS ? Just this month, gates are locked at night to secure farm equipment stored on the grounds … So please plan on arriving no earlier than 5:30 AM for set-up at 6 AM ? this Saturday, October 17th ?
