Pig, Duck and Goat Races

The pigs, ducks, and goats from Pleasure Valley Farm in nearby Adell, WI, provide entertainment with four daily shows during the Dodge County Fair. The racing pigs and other farm animals are the main attractions at the Laux family farm during the pumpkin season. Their debut show at the Wisconsin State Fair was a tremendous success, and they have performed at several county fairs since 2013.

The racing animals don’t require extensive training to race. Once they’re taken out of their trailer, they instinctively know that the faster they run around the course, the sooner they’ll return to their cool and comfortable temporary home. In addition to pigs, other racing animals include ducks and Nigerian Dwarf goats from West Africa.
