Dodge County Fair – Friday, August 17th, 2018

County Music nationally touring artist takes the stage on Friday, August 17th of the 2018 Dodge County Fair.

Gate Admission is $7 before 12 pm OR $10 after 12 pm.  Age 9 and under FREE. Season tickets are $27 before August 15th and $35 thereafter. Tickets can be purchased at most Dodge County Banks, Recheks Food Pride, Beaver Dam Piggly Wiggly or at the Fairgrounds Office. Please NO CARRY-INS. FREE Grandstand and Parking – all you pay is your admission to the fair!

Enjoy the many FREE Stages on the grounds daily; Kandu Magic Show, Custom Chain Saw Carver, Petting Zoo, Wild World of Animals and Pleasure Valley’s Pig, Duck, and Goat Races.

Family friendly entertainment as low as $5.40 per day with the purchase of a season pass. The annual music festival and county fair entertains over 52,000 fans a year and is the largest outdoor event in the area.

Junior Fair Poultry Judging9:00 am – 10:00 am

Youth participate in Danish judging where animals are evaluated on functionality, structure, balance, and attractiveness.

Junior Fair Dairy Showmanship9:00 am – 11:00 am

Youth showcase their knowledge of dairy education and compete for a variety of showmanship awards such as top production, somatic cell count, and protein production.

Open Class Dairy Cattle Judging11:30 am – 1:00 pm

Animals are exhibited in the farm progress arena by adults or children wearing white pants and a white or colored shirt, belt, and close-toed shoes. Back tags will be provide and should be displayed on the back of each exhibitor.

Kids Pedal Tractor Pull11:30 am – 1:00 pm

Kids age 3 to 12 compete in age and weight classes in the Pedal Pull during the Dodge County Fair. Contestants should arrive 15 minutes early for registration, pedal tractors of different sizes provided.

Junior Fair Music Performance Judging1:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Instrumental, vocal and piano performances by youth to demonstrate their 4-H music projects. Exhibitor performances are judged face to face in Radio Park in front of a live fair audience.

Pig, Duck and Goat Races on S Fairview Road2:00 pm – 2:30 pm

The pigs, ducks and goats from Pleasure Valley Farm of nearby Adell, WI entertain with four shows daily during the Dodge County Fair.

WXRO Barn Show and Celebrity Cream Puff Eating Contest5:00 pm – 6:45 pm

Arrive early to get a seat for the 23rd annual Celebrity Cream Puff Eating Contest. Uncle Bill McCollum will broadcast LIVE on WXRO 95.3 FM during the Barn Show as area celebrities compete against the clock.
