Hundreds of Exhibitors from all over the state and all ages enter items in the Open Class Exhibits every year. Printed copies are available at most banks throughout Dodge County, the Fair Office, Beaver Dam and Juneau Piggly Wiggly, and Beaver Dam Food Pride. The online version is a good reference for quick look-up or for printing extra entry sheets. If you have any questions about entering items in the Open Class Exhibits please reply in the comments section below or call the superintendent for that area directly.
All exhibitors and anyone interested should join the Open Class Exhibitors Facebook Group

Being new to entering our pictures, my kids and I were wondering when and where do we bring the pictures to be judged? Do we send it all with the money?
Thank you for asking, that’s a good question! Bring your entries in person on Tuesday, August 15th between 9 am and 6 pm. Pick-up your entry tags and tickets at the Fair Office then take your entries to the Open Class Exhibit Building and hand over to the Superintendent for your division to be displayed. This information and more is available on page 9 of the exhibit book here https://dodgecountyfairgrounds.com/dodge-county-fair/open-class-exhibitor-fair-entry-book/
I haven’t received my Open Class Fair Book yet. Have they been mailed?
Yes, all exhibitors from last year should have received a book in the mail. If not, the book is available online and at several locations throughout the county. Here’s a list of locations https://dodgecountyfairgrounds.com/2017/07/16/dodge-county-fair-invites-community-to-exhibit-in-open-class/
is it $25 per person, or per entry? does that cost get you a free pass into fair? Looking into showing a few things (: Thank you!
Thank you for asking, hopefully we can explain further… $25 per person, no limit to the number of items you wish to enter. The open class exhibitor entry includes free admission to the fair for all five days. Please reply with any other questions. Thank you.
does each day have its own pass or is it a book of five? Thank you so much for a quick response!
Great question! The season pass book contains five separate tickets, one for each day Wednesday thru Sunday. Tickets must be used on the appropriate day.
Will a 2017 Fair Book be uploaded soon?
Janet, thank you for noticing. The book has very few changes year over year, we hope to have an updated version on our site early July. Until then, feel free to use the prior year as a guide and check back in July for verification and prepare for entry.
I would like to enter a hand made leather rifle case. It is 36″long and about 7″ wide. It has several hooks and rings and a strap which makes it easy to hang vertical or horizontal. It is quite beautiful and sure to please viewers. Is it to big? Also I did not see a leathercraft section in the open class. Is leathercraft a part of cultural arts?
