This event is unique for Holstein breeders in the Dodge County area to stimulate interest in breeding and exhibiting outstanding, officially-identified Holsteins of 87 percent registered Holstein ancestry (RHA) or higher and to promote the dairy industry to the general public. Holstein breeders enter animals as calves and show the same animals as two-year-old cows, after they’ve had their first calf. During the show, exhibitors parade their cows wearing formal attire. Every year, the show arena is filled to standing-room only with spectators.
