
Dodge County Fairgrounds

The Dodge County Fair Association is a State of Wisconsin Corporation formed for the purpose of operating a fairgrounds, which is presently located four (4) miles east of the city of Beaver Dam on State Highway 33 on 40 acres of land, which the Corporation owns.
The Corporation was established by a group of interested persons who sold shares of stock for $10.00 each. This stock has no par value, only voting rights. This is a non-profit organization. Stock is still available for $10.00 and gives the holder the opportunity to participate in the annual stockholders meeting.
The Association elects 9 people to a Board of Directors whose job it is to conduct the business of the Fair Association. The Board of Directors consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary & Treasurer and 5 additional members. The main purpose of this Board is to organize and conduct a County Fair. Additional jobs include conducting and organizing any other business that may occur on the fairgrounds.

The Junior Fair Foods and Food Preservation is a judging event for youth participating in the 4-H foods project. Exhibits are judged on composition, appearance, creativity, and presentation of food items. Continue reading
Junior Fair Flowers, Houseplants and Plant Crafts Judging
A judging event for youth enrolled in flowers, houseplants, and home environment projects. Exhibitors bring their entries to be judged face to face and receive comments and ask questions. Exhibits are evaluated on composition, arrangement, appearance, and structure. Continue reading
Beef Fitting Contest
The contest gives beef project youth the opportunity to demonstrate project growth by practicing their fitting skills and competing for prizes. Fitters will have one hour to fit, groom and care for their animal. Continue reading

Animal care takes center stage during the Sheep Fitting Contest in the Farm Progress Arena on Tuesday night before the Fair. Sheep project youth demonstrate project growth by practicing their fitting skills and competing for prizes. Continue reading
Dairy Fitting Contest
Fitters will compete in two categories; Junior Fitters, grades 4-8 and Senior Fitters, grades 9 and older. Held in the Farm Progress Arena, fitters will have one hour to fit their animal. Continue reading
2019 Dodge County Fair
