The Dodge County Fair is the areas main event with four nights of concerts on an outdoor stage surrounded by area youth exhibits and fabulous fried food. The music festival and concert venue entertains country and rock concert goers from throughout the state of Wisconsin and Upper Midwest.
Montgomery Gentry kicks off the 2016 Dodge County Fair with their country hits at 8pm Wednesday, August 17th. Don’t miss the Fairest of the Fair Competition at the WTKM Stage at 5pm as the smell of freshly prepared Fair Food fills the air! Get a season ticket and enjoy all five days of the Dodge County Fair!
Montgomery Gentry remains in touch with its working class roots. “We are blue collar workers and we lived the songs that we sing,” says Troy. “Because of that, our fans are able to make the connection and when they hear our songs, they know we are singing with passion and we know what we are talking about.” “People are going to be able to touch on each one of our songs and say. ‘Yeah man, that song is a little bit about me,’
Granger Smith featuring Earl Dibbles Jr. will bring fans to their feet at 8pm on Thursday, August 18th of the 2016 Dodge County Fair. It’s a fun filled day with activities in Radio Park, Judging in the Youth Building and Livestock Buildings. At 7pm business owners recognize livestock raised by local youth during the annual Meat Animal Sale in the Farm Progress Arena.
Granger Smith has been building a career that is truly groundbreaking. With sold-out national tours, a social media following of more than four million, and YouTube views exceeding 35 million, he has amassed an audience that is purely organic and rabid. He has continually searched for new and innovative ways to connect with his fans and —one by one, room by room — built a national following, which also caught the attention of Nashville’s powerhouse label-group BBR Music Group.
Bret Michaels will rock the main stage on Friday, August 19th at the 2016 Dodge County Fair. It’s wristband day, ride unlimited rides on the Midway from Noon to 5pm for $25. Arrive early and enjoy several free stages throughout the grounds like Kandu the Magic Show, Chainsaw Artist, Pig Races and Wild World of Animals.
An unstoppable showman, Bret has toured as a solo artist for 15 years, breaking attendance records at venues with sell out crowds. Bret’s touring schedule is one of the largest of any current artist. Due to Bret’s extreme media exposure, including his hit Reality TV shows and appearances, unlike most artists who appeal to a limited demographic reach, his fan base encompasses three generations of loyal fans that span from age 10 to 80. His multi genre albums that span from rock to country, enables Bret to reach almost every demographic, which fuels his immense draw to shows.
Canaan Smith will highlight the day on Saturday as the Main Stage Performer at the Dodge County Fair. Arrive early to see the Horse Pull, Tractor Pull and many other events on the grounds. Family Day on the Midway from 12 noon to 5pm!
With wisdom beyond his young years, Canaan Smith has emerged as one of Nashville’s most compelling storytellers. Whether painting a steamy portrait of a burgeoning relationship in the hit single “Love You Like That” or honoring the memory of his brother in the powerful title track, “Bronco”.
Canaan is rapidly climbing the charts again with his follow up to his first #1, the party anthem “Hole In A Bottle”. “That song sets the tone with the fans every night. It lets them know we are there to tear it up right along with them.” Smith’s gifts as a storyteller have earned the respect of his peers and his songs have been recorded by Love & Theft, Cole Swindell, Florida Georgia Line and Jason Aldean, among others.
Start the day early with the Pernat Haase Meats Four Wheel Drive Truck Pull at 9am then Smash em Crash em in the Demo Derbies at 1pm and 6pm.
