Dodge County Fair – Saturday, August 19th, 2017
Country Music Concert (TBA) will highlight the day on Saturday as the Main Stage Performer at the Dodge County Fair. Arrive early to see the Horse Pull, Tractor Pull and many other events on the grounds. Family Day on the Midway from 12 noon to 5pm!
Gate Admission is $7 before 2pm and $10 after 2pm. Age 9 and under FREE. Season tickets are $27 before August 16th and $35 there after. Tickets can be purchased at most Dodge County Banks, Recheks Food Pride, Beaver Dam Piggly Wiggly or at the Fairgrounds Office. Please NO CARRY INS. FREE Grandstand and Parking – all you pay is your admission to the fair!
Enjoy the many FREE Stages on the grounds daily; Kandu Magic Show, Custom Chain Saw Carver, Petting Zoo, Wild World of Animals and Pig Races.
2017 Dodge County FairAll day
Family friendly entertainment as low as $5.40 per day with the purchase of a season pass. The annual music festival and county fair entertains over 52,000 fans a year and is the largest outdoor event in the area.
Horse Pull9:00 am – 11:00 am
Teams of horses pull the sled in front of the grandstands starting at 9 am Saturday of the Fair. Breakfast will be available at the concession stand, plenty of seating in the grandstands.
Dodge County Holstein Futurity Show12:30 pm – 2:00 pm
Holstein breeders enter animals as calves and show the same animals as two-year-old cows, after they've had their first calf. During the show, exhibitors parade their cows wearing formal attire. Every year, the show arena is filled to standing-room only with spectators.
Farm Tractor Pull1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Who will pull the sled the farthest to take home the win? Area farmers compete in several classes on the clay track in front of the grandstands during the annual Dodge County Fair.
Chainsaw Carving Auction3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Gather around the Chainsaw Demonstration Site to bid on carvings from demonstrations during the Fair. Custom Chainsaw Carvers will be demonstrating their skills and creating large works of art for the auction throughout the Fair.
Supreme Showmanship7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Top junior and senior showmen of the dairy, beef, sheep and swine projects will compete against each other in showing their own animal, and then showing animals in two other species. Don’t miss the chance to witness this newer contest showcasing the top livestock youth.
