John Deere 110 Vintage Lawn and Garden Tractor

Only 1,000 John Deere model 110’s were made in 1963, all in Horicon, WI

The Weekend of Freedom Machines event is entirely free and open to the public.  The three-day celebrates the 50th anniversary of the 1963 John Deere model 110 lawn and garden tractor – known as the Weekend of Freedom Machine.  Only 1,000 model 110’s were made in 1963, the first John Deere Lawn and Garden Tractor built in Horicon, WI.  More than 1,000 garden tractors of all makes and models will be displayed by collectors along with a variety of lawn and garden tractor memorabilia.  Attendees will also have access to food vendors, campsites and free parking.    Share with friends and family, print copies of the event poster for more information!

Times are subject to change. Factory tours are first come, first serve.

Friday, July 26th, 2013 – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

8:45 AM First bus leaves for factory tours.  Throughout the day, approximately every 30 minutes till 2:15 PM.
9:00 AM Opening ceremony in front of grandstands.  Swap meet and exhibits open; swap meet building, feature tractor area and general grounds.
9:30 AM Retiree session in the Show Arena
10:15 AM Driver safety session for all drivers, near registration area
10:30 AM Play In The Dirt begins on the back straight away of the track
11:30 AM Line-up for parade
12 Noon Parade begins in front of grandstand
2:00 PM Retiree session in Show Arena
2:15 PM Last bus tour to factory
3:00 PM Play in the dirt begins on the back straight away of the track
5:00 PM Show closes

Saturday, July 27th, 2013 – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Dodge County Fair Association is a State of Wisconsin Corporation formed for the purpose of operating a fairgrounds, which is presently located four (4) miles east of the city of Beaver Dam on State Highway 33 on 40 acres of land, which the Corporation owns.     I have a model 112 made in 1967. I was in Horicon and at the Fairgrounds last weekend for 50th celebration of the John Deere garden tractors. I was amazed at all the moderations, customs, and restorations. I think it would be a good idea to do it again in 10 years.
