Thursday at the County Fair

Sawyer Brown in concert, senior citizens day with music by Loco Vocals from 1 to 4 pm in Radio Park, and the Meat Animal Sale just to name a few on day two of the Dodge County Fair.  There’s something fun for the whole family at the Fair, please feel free to ask questions as a reply in the comments section below, we love to hear from our fans!

Take a break with your kids, do a little indoor fishing, the Fish Pond is an activity for children of all ages. Kids fish indoors to catch a variety of prizes in paper bags for a small cost.  All proceeds go to the Dodge County 4-H Program.  The Fish Pond is located next to the 4-H Promotion Booth in the Youth Building. After fishing, walk around the Youth Building and look at all the Dodge County Youth’s 4-H and FFA projects.

It’s Kids Day Wristbands on the Midway, ride as many rides as you like from 1 to 5 pm with purchase of a $20 wristband. Regular ticket prices resume at 5 pm, 20 tickets for $20 or $1.25 each. Visit our Midway Rides Page for more information.

At 7 pm 4-H and FFA youth will show and sell their top animals at the Meat Animal Sale in the Farm Progress Area. Supported by local businesses this event is well attended and an annual tradition at the Fair.

Sawyer Brown in concert light up the Grandstand Stage presented by 92.5 FM Buzz Country at 8 pm. All seats are FREE with paid admission to the Fair and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can sit on the track in your lawn chair or on the bleachers in the grandstands. In a recent article, the band talked about a recent performance at Country Jam in Eau Claire and noted that they have performed in Wisconsin more than any other state in the country. Gregg “Hobie” Hubbard, the group’s keyboardist, remarked that it “always feels like coming home” when they perform in Wisconsin. After the concert, enjoy music at Radio Park by The Madpolecats from Madison, WI. This family band has an arsenal of instruments and is made of musicians who have played together at roadhouse bars, churches, music festivals, concert halls, fundraising events, benefits, weddings, wakes, and some of the best street corners in Wisconsin.

Gate Admission is $7 before 12 pm or $10 after 12 pm.  Age 9 and under FREE. Please no carry-ins. FREE Grandstand and Parking!

WS Ag Center Meat Animal Sale Auction

Meat Animal Sale7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Support the youth of Dodge County at the Meat Animal Sale on Thursday in the Farm Progress Arena. Preregistered bidders/buyers are recognized with a free dinner preceding the auction. Each exhibitor, in order to sell, must participate in a number of educational activities, raise, and show an animal of top quality.

The Dodge County Fair Association is a State of Wisconsin Corporation formed for the purpose of operating a fairgrounds, which is presently located four (4) miles east of the city of Beaver Dam on State Highway 33 on 40 acres of land, which the Corporation owns. The Association is an IRC (Internal Revenue Code) Sec. 501(c)(3) organization. Your tax-deductible contributions are appreciated to maintain buildings and grounds.
